US rapper Kanye West performs 18 August 2007 on the main stage at the V Festival in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, southeastern England. Now in its 12th year, the V Festival sees a large variety of bands performing on alternate days over the weekend at both Hylands Park and Weston Park in Staffordshire. With last year’s tickets selling out in three hours and an attendance of 158,000 on both days, the Festival is a significant event in the British festival season.
